El Bufo Alvarius es una medicina proveniente de un sapo del desierto de Sonora (México), de sus glándulas parótidas se extrae una sustancia lechosa que posteriormente se deja secar, quedando unas escamas doradas. Mediante la combustión se inhala el humo para tener la experiencia (se fuma). Considerado el enteógeno más potente del planeta, lo denominan la experiencia cumbre. En su composición química se encuentra el 5MEO DMT y bufotetína entre otras. Al igual que la Ayahuasca trabaja con la consciencia, te va llevando de la luz a la oscuridad y viceversa, el bufo es la consciencia, hay una disolución del ego, una separación de lo corpóreo para encontrarte con el todo, la sensación de unidad, de amor divino es inconmensurable, difícil definir con palabras. La experiencia dura 15/20 minutos en su parte más intensa que irá disminuyendo hasta volver a la normalidad, aunque sin duda será una experiencia que no deja indiferente a nadie, pues el contacto con lo divino no quedará en el olvido.
